  • GUI support: Python supports Graphical User Interface. One can easily integrate it with other languages too such as C and C++. Python provides interfaces for large sets of databases.
  • Free and open-source: Python is freely available on any website. Anybody can use it and modify it. It is very large and active. Also, the python language is copyrighted.


  • Speed limitations: python is slower than other languages. It interprets language so it takes some time to run. If speed is not important for your project you can go with it.
  • Not native to the mobile environment: python is a weak language for mobile computing. Android and IOS do not support python language. However, python can be used for mobile purposes by requiring some additional efforts.


Python is a general-purpose programming language. From all these points we have come to the conclusion that Python is one of the most popular languages because it is easy to learn and implement and can be used to develop a wide variety of applications. Python is not limited. Hence, is a universal and scalable language that can be used for various types of projects. 

Several developers prefer python because it is a suitable language for both beginners and experts. Python is well structured and pleasing. It does not use complicated programming words. With python, you can do more with less.
